ACTUALITY ON STATE OF THE UNION WEBSITE

PASADENA, CALIFORNIA

Next Thursday evening, I will address the American people on the State of our Union - where we stand and the challenges we face as we begin a new century.

With the advent of new technology, citizens all over our country are now able to participate more directly in their government.

That's why I hope students, parents and teachers will log on to a new White House web page devoted to the State of the Union Address. You can read about the issues I plan to discuss, and even send me your ideas on how to keep our nation moving forward.

There's also a page for students and teachers to learn about this important American tradition.

I encourage you log on and participate at www.whitehouse.gov.
