Science and Technology Budget

On Monday, February 7th at 12:30 p.m. in the White House Conference Center, the Administration will release details of the FY2001 science and technology budget.

Dr. Neal Lane, Assistant to the President for Science and Technology, will provide an overview and will be accompanied by Secretary of Energy Bill Richardson, OMB Deputy Director Elgie Holstein, NASA Administrator Dan Goldin, NSF Director Rita Colwell, DARPA Director Frank Fernandez, and the Deputy Director of the National Institutes of Health.

The event will be in the Truman Room of the White House Conference Center at 726 Jackson Place, N.W. and is open to the press; no pre-clearance is necessary.
