Objective #1	To examine the effects of an in-home computer information and support system on health care costs and quality of life.
Action Steps	Half of three hundred patients with advanced HIV infection are provided with in-home computer system; the other half receive no intervention. Effects of this system are assessed with respect use of prophylactic treatments, early detection of infections, and quality of life.
