HIV Prevention Funding at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention administers most programs that help support efforts to stop the spread of HIV. These include that that provide support to cities and states for locally-designed prevention plans, direct assistance to both national and local organizations, and surveillance and epidemiology to help understand how the disease is spreading.
